Recruiting for a Regional Procurement Manager covering the South West Region

 

Sadly, Phillip Blackmore, our Regional Procurement Manager, will be leaving SWPA. Phil has been a great colleague of the SWPA team for over two years and will be greatly missed! We are now recruiting for his position.

 

The South West Procurement Alliance (SWPA) is seeking to appoint a Regional Procurement Manager covering the South West Region. 

 

  • The South West Procurement Alliance is one of the regional arms of the LHC (London Housing Consortium) a public sector framework provider established in 1966.

 

  • Our mission is “Through improved procurement, deliver better homes and buildings that enhance local communities.” and to be a recognised centre of excellence in procurement.

 

  • We rebranded as SWPA in October 2019 and are growing our presence and profile in the South West. During the past 4 years we have increased the annual turnover delivered through our frameworks and now have in excess of 49 member/partner organisations across the public sector. Currently we are delivering £349m of projects via our frameworks.

 

  • We have an office in Exeter and take part in the wider debates and initiatives that are important in the region – supporting the local economy and environmental sustainability.

 

  • We are a not for profit organisation and our surplus is recycled into community benefit projects.
