Delivering safe, secure and sustainable homes and buildings through public sector procurement.
SWPA delivers a simple core service. We bring buyers and suppliers together to build, refurbish and maintain social housing and public property more efficiently and cost effectively, and to benefit the local community. Created for local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies, our frameworks are procured in accordance with The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and are free to use.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we return any surplus to our associate partners to improve social value outcomes in accordance with our primary goal 'working together to deliver better buildings, homes and communities' and actively contribute to community benefit initiatives.
We are proud to announce that LHCPG has achieved Gold Standard verification via the Constructing Excellence Constructing the Gold Standard Verification Scheme.
Frameworks are agreements that set out the specification, scope, quality, price and other requirements of building contracts. Suppliers compete through a competitive procurement process to be appointed on to a framework. Publicly funded bodies access the suppliers that have successfully been awarded to the framework through their chosen ‘call off’ process in line with the framework terms.
SWPA have established our Community Benefit Fund, with our delivery partner Locality. Together we have focussed our fund to small community groups so that we can achieve the most impact.
Members of SWPA are invited to nominate eligible groups, in their area to receive a grant from our fund.
